To enable our customers to track their shipments, GLS Portugal uses services such as FlexDeliveryService, GLS Point and DropPoint. Please note that GLS Portugal receives the telephone number and/or email address directly from the sender who requested these additional services. The sender is also a data controller and is responsible, in particular, for the lawful collection of such data and for ensuring that it has the appropriate legal basis to transfer your data to GLS Portugal. GLS Portugal processes these data solely for the purpose described above and only while the shipment is being processed, based on our legitimate interest in providing the requested service. Failure to provide the identification and contact information described above will prevent us from providing the shipment tracking service.


In order to deliver your shipment to its intended destination, we process your identification and contact details—name, address, postcode, city, country, telephone number and email address—for the period necessary to process the shipment and, where applicable, for the statutory period of 10 years for invoicing management purposes.
