GLS provides the declared value shipping service (DeclaredValueInsurance), a postal service whose special feature is to ensure a registered shipment against loss, theft, total or partial destruction. If the sender declared a value lower than the real value, the compensation is at the level of the declared value.
The maximum accepted value of the declared value is RON 7,000. The service is suitable for legal entities who choose to insure only a part of the shipments that are the subject of the shipment.

We offer and provide this service exclusively in the case of commercial contracts concluded with legal persons. The service is requested expressly by the GLS contract client, for a part of the postal consignments that are the subject of the contract.
