Our initiatives to gradually reduce carbon emissions

Our approach to environmental protection

Reducing environmental impact is part of the GLS Group’s strategy. Every parcel delivered and every stage of logistics or transport requires natural resources and generates carbon emissions. That is why the GLS Group continues its mission to connect people around the world while committing to reducing its environmental footprint. Climate and environmental protection are therefore a central pillar of its sustainability approach.

In this context, GLS France is fully aligned with the GLS Group’s environmental strategy. We apply these principles at a national level and implement them operationally across France, actively contributing to the reduction of our environmental footprint.

Our journey to net-zero¹ is science-based

The GLS Group has committed to achieving net zero emissions1, in line with the Science Based Targets initiative by 2045. To reach this goal, its environmental strategy focuses on the gradual reduction of carbon emissions. GLS France2 is aligned with the GLS Group’s climate pathway. We contribute to this ambition by progressively deploying concrete actions across France aimed at reducing our carbon footprint, in line with the objectives set at Group level.
