GLS opens sustainable depot in Kalsdorf near Graz
After eight months of construction, GLS Austria put the largest GLS depot in Styria into operation: with the new environmentally friendly depot in Kalsdorf near Graz, the parcel service significantly expanded its capacities and increased efficiency in parcel handling.

The parcel service GLS Austria increases its prices due to further rising personnel costs. In this way, the company wants to ensure the quality of parcel delivery in the future too.
GLS Austria trains the new training for the parcel industry
From September, GLS Austria will be one of the first companies to offer training in the new training as a specialist for local and distribution logistics. It is geared towards the needs of the booming parcel industry and includes both practical and administrative activities.
Estafeta becomes GLS partner in Mexico
The GLS Group has expanded its commitment on the North American continent with a new partnership. From June 2019, Estafeta Mexicana, S.A. DE C.V. (Estafeta) will deliver GLS consignments in Mexico and, in a second step, will feed parcels for the European, US and Canadian markets into the GLS network.
GLS expands international service
GLS has added Italy, Portugal, Finland and Bulgaria to its international FlexDeliveryService. The number of countries connected across borders via the service thus rises to 21. Parcel recipients have the option to adapt deliveries to their own wishes even in the case of online orders made in other countries.
