Depending on the needs during the working day, the tasks are:

  • scanning and routing of parcels arriving at the sorting center
  • unloading, sorting and loading parcels
  • reception and coordination of arriving vehicles

If you join us, these will be your main responsibilities:

  • managing the finance department, including accounting, controlling, payroll, taxation
  • managing and developing reporting systems (local statutory and GLS) and financial processes with adaptation to the rules of the GLS Group
  • carry out and follow up financial assessments (ROI, NPV, risks…) for new projects, specific investments or other ad hoc analyses
  • treasury and cash management with a high degree of security, including currency management, credit risk management, COD process
  • active participation in all phases of strategic and yearly budget planning and its management
  • analysing and explaining main variances in P&L, Working Capital, Capex in comparison to plans
  • ensuring and monitoring the necessary legal and official permits and conditions
  • coordination of audit activities and the financial closing process

What we expect from you:

  • bachelor or master degree (economic/financial/accounting field)
  • a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the field of finance, including managerial positions
  • excellent knowledge of finance, accounting, taxation and controlling
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • strong ability to organize multiple work tasks and prioritize them
  • expert knowledge of excel (power pivot)
  • good knowledge of spoken and written English (B2)
  • driving license B category

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Journal entries and reconciliation of accounts
  • Checking the accuracy of all entries to ensure that general ledger is accurate/complete and fiscal rules are met
  • Ensuring compliance with tax requirements, local statutory and group accounting policies
  • Collecting posting and archiving documentation for all business transactions: fixed assets, incoming invoices, expense reports, credit notes, payments, GL postings, business trips settlement in SAP
  • Creating and validating accounting records in SAP
  • Implementing monthly closing schedule
  • Reviewing postings from tax point of view (VAT,CIT) and report preparation
  • Booking of provisions/accrual
  • Support and preparation of Group and Statutory financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends
  • Providing all supporting documents for external and tax audit
  • Preparing all types of reports according to Local governance and HQ as well as providing supporting documents
  • Fixed asset management
  • Monthly reconciliation of SAP and local accounting record
  • Monitoring of legislation and legal requirements, implementation of changes

  • Bacc/Master degree in economics/finance/accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
