What you can expect as a GLS employee

13th wage

Vacancies

What will your tasks be?

  • you will be the main contact for employee data protection issues
  • you will carry out regular data protection risk assessments according to the defined group standard
  • you will be in charge of creating awareness about data protection in everyday business
  • you will maintain records of data processing activities for the organization
  • you will monitor and update RDPA and DPA contracts
  • you will conduct a compliance risk assessment
  • you will update the Compliance training matrix and monitor the completion of the training
  • you will translate relevant documents and regulations related to Compliance
  • you will lead the training of new employees in the area of ​​Compliance and Data Protection
  • you will consult with the corporate and legal department regarding Compliance and DataProtection
  • you will be in charge of the GLS Climate Protect initiative - your tasks will be: monitoring the annual EcoFootprint (data collection, analysis, correction of and setting goals), data collection from subcontractors and for the parcel transport segment and consolidation, solving various ad hoc inquiries from the central office
  • you will conduct training for new employees in the area of ​​the GLS Climate Protect initiative (you will compile materials and publish and monitor training and education)
  • you will be in charge of the InfoDesk portal - your tasks will be: user administration, creating and uploading documents, finalizing the layout
  • you will prepare quarterly reports, half-yearly recapitulations and you will participate in annual conferences
  • you will participate in ISO audit activities

It is important that you have:

  • work experience in same or similar jobs (minimum 1 year)
  • knowledge of the MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • good knowledge of the English language (B2)
