Red Cross surcharge fee

In accordance with the decision of the Court of Justice of the Republic of Croatia U-I-2282/2014 related to the surcharges in the "Red Cross Week", "Week against Tuberculosis" and "Solidarity Week" of the Red Cross, we hereby inform you that this fee will no longer be charged.

Solidarity Week

The provisions of Article 33 of the Croatian Red Cross Law, among other things states that the Croatian Red Cross organizes humanitarian weeks every calendar year in order to promote its activities: "Red Cross Week" in the period from May 8th to 15th, "Tuberculosis Awareness Week" in the period from September 14th to 21th and "Solidarity Week" in the period from December 8th to 15th. In these periods, in domestic postal traffic the amount of the additional stamp in favor of Croatian Red Cross will be applied on all postal items, except newspapers and magazines, in the amount of 50 percent of the nominal value of the first rate of letter weight according to the price list of public operator services.

The amount of the additional stamp in the "Solidarity Week" in the period from 8 to 15 December is 1.65 HRK.
