With GLS's "Belgium 24h" service, Belgian and Luxembourgish recipients receive their orders in just 24 hours.

GLS, a specialist in delivery and parcel shipping up to 30kg for businesses and individuals, is accelerating the development of new services. The company now offers its corporate and e-commerce clients the option of 24-hour parcel delivery to Belgium and Luxembourg from the northern region of France and the Parisian area. This delivery solution was previously only provided by express services at a higher cost.

With its six logistic platforms spread across both countries, any parcel handed in before 8:30 PM in Paris or midnight in Lille will be delivered the next day throughout Belgium or Luxembourg.

GLS France and Pickme continue to roll out the network of neighbour-relays in France after a successful first year

As the number of orders on the internet explodes, the delivery of parcels on the first pass of the courier is a key issue in e-commerce, both to limit the carbon footprint due to round trips and to increase the satisfaction of customers who receive their parcels more quickly.

Women's Rights Day 2022

GLS France, a committed player in the fight against stereotypes about the place of women in the transport and logistics sector

The share of women in industry, construction and logistics is still very low and is generally associated with many clichés. According to INSEE, of the 87 occupational groups listed, only 18 are considered to be mixed, that is with a ratio of 60% to 40% between the two sexes. The situation is particularly glaring in the industrial sector, where women are still in the minority.

Nevertheless, some players stand out and implement HR policies based on total equality. This is the case at GLS France, a parcel delivery company, which promotes female role models within its corporate culture.
