TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE “GLS FINISH CHALLENGE” CONTEST
is valid from 19 June 2026 to 23 June 2026.
1. DEFINITIONS
1.1. The terms and expressions used in these Terms and Conditions shall have the meanings set out below:
Organizer – Tomasz Piotrowski conducting business activity under the name Beeffective Tomasz Piotrowski, with its registered office in Gdynia, Al. Zwycięstwa 96/98/B.2.18, 81-451 Gdynia, NIP: 5832858598, REGON: 360685335.
Client – General Logistics Systems Poland sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Głuchowo, ul. Tęczowa 10, 62-052 Komorniki, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court Poznań – Nowe Miasto and Wilda in Poznań, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS number 0000005009; NIP: 785-15-61-831; share capital: PLN 16,311,638.00; BDO number: 000134659.
Prize Sponsor – General Logistics Systems Poland sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Głuchowo, ul. Tęczowa 10, 62-052 Komorniki, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court Poznań – Nowe Miasto and Wilda in Poznań, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS number 0000005009; NIP: 785-15-61-831; share capital: PLN 16,311,638.00; BDO number: 000134659.
Terms and Conditions – these Terms and Conditions of Participation in the Contest, binding upon the Organizer and the Contest Participants, regulating the rules and conditions of the Contest, in particular the conditions of participation in the Contest, the rights and obligations of the Organizer, and the rights and obligations of Participants in connection with their participation in the Contest.
Contest – the contest called “GLS Finish Challenge”, organized by the Organizer within the period and under the conditions specified in these Terms and Conditions.
Facebook Service – the online service operating under the domain www.facebook.com.
Profile – the participant’s profile on the Facebook Service.
Instagram Service – the online service operating under the domain https://www.instagram.com/.
Instagram Account – the Participant’s profile on the Instagram Service.
Contest Entry – completion of the contest task by writing a comment and adding it by the Participant under the contest post on the GLS Poland Facebook profile. The contest post will be available at least during the Contest period on the profile: https://www.facebook.com/GLSPoland.
Participant – a user of the Facebook Service who has correctly and effectively submitted their participation in the Contest and meets the conditions entitling them to participate in the Contest, as described in these Terms and Conditions, in particular in Section 4.
2. GENERAL PROVISIONS
2.1. The Contest is announced online on the Facebook Service. Information about the Contest will also be posted on the Instagram Service with a redirect to the Facebook Service.
2.2. Participation in the Contest is submitted via the Facebook Service by publishing a comment under the contest post with an answer to the contest task available on the GLS Poland Facebook profile: https://www.facebook.com/GLSPoland.
2.3. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. Information provided by Participants to the Organizer will be used solely for the purpose and under the rules described in Section 5 of these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Contest, the Participant simultaneously declares that they release Facebook from any liability related to the organization of the Contest.
2.4. The right to participate in the Contest is granted only to persons who meet all the participation conditions specified in Section 4 of these Terms and Conditions.
2.5. In addition to the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, Participants shall also be bound by communications and information concerning the Contest originating from the Organizer and published on its Facebook or Instagram profiles, provided that such communications do not change the Contest rules and do not affect the Participant’s status.
3. DATES
3.1. The Contest runs from 19 June 2026, from the moment the contest post is published on the GLS Poland Facebook profile, until 23 June 2026 at 23:59. The Contest results will be published no later than 24 June 2026.
3.2. Contest entries submitted after the Contest period specified in Section 3.1 of these Terms and Conditions shall not be qualified for participation in the Contest.
3.3. The Contest Winner will be notified by being tagged and by receiving a reply from the Organizer to their contest comment on Facebook after the end of the Contest, within a maximum of 5 business days.
3.4. The prize for the Winner will be sent to the shipping address indicated by the Winner within 15 days from the date the Winner provides the address.
4. PARTICIPATION AND CONTEST RULES
4.1. The Contest is nationwide and is addressed to all users of the Facebook Service. Information about the Contest will also be posted on Instagram with a redirect to Facebook.
4.2. Participation in the Contest is entirely voluntary and free of charge.
4.3. The right to participate in the Contest is granted to persons who meet the participation conditions specified in these Terms and Conditions and are not excluded from participation under Section 4.5.
4.4. The Contest may be entered by a natural person who jointly meets the following conditions:
- is at least 18 years old or, in the case of minors, has the consent of a legal guardian to participate in the Contest, the template of which constitutes Appendix No. 1 to these Terms and Conditions; the legal guardian’s consent to participate in the Contest shall be provided by parents or legal guardians no later than on the day the Contest is resolved, to the email address: hello@beeffective.pl;
- has Internet access, including access to Facebook or Instagram, and has an active Facebook profile with true and accurate data or a public Instagram profile;
- has read and accepted these Terms and Conditions — entering the Contest means the Participant’s unconditional acceptance of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
4.5. Employees, associates and members of the governing bodies of the Organizer, the Client and the Prize Sponsor, as well as members of their immediate families, may not participate in the Contest. Immediate family members shall mean spouses, descendants, ascendants, siblings and in-laws.
4.6. Contest participation may be submitted exclusively via Facebook, as specified in Section 4.7. By entering the Contest, the Participant consents to the processing of their personal data, i.e.:
- first name and surname,
- email address,
- phone number,
- residential address,
for the purpose of conducting the Contest, including the publication of their data among the Contest Winners in electronic communication, by email and on Facebook.
4.7. The Participant’s task is to publish a Contest Entry on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/GLSPoland, under the contest post — a creative answer/comment to the contest task in text form.
TASK ON THE FACEBOOK PROFILE:
The user responds in the comment by completing the sentence:
“On my way to the finish line, what helps me is…”
Examples of answers:
“my family waiting at the finish line”,
“a plan I stick to even when it gets tough”,
“music, coffee and the thought that I can do it”,
“a team that gets me to the finish line”,
“peace of mind and confidence in my preparation”.
4.8. During the Contest period, the Participant may publish any number of comments consistent with the Contest theme and these Terms and Conditions, subject to Section 4.10.
4.9. A Participant may join the Contest throughout its entire duration.
4.10. Prizes are not cumulative, meaning that one Contest Participant may win only once.
4.11. By publishing the Contest Entry, the Participant declares that they hold all copyrights and economic rights to the Contest Entry, that it is free from any legal obligations and is not encumbered by third-party rights.
4.12. Upon receiving the Prize, the Contest Winner grants the Organizer a free-of-charge license to use the Contest Entry. The license is non-exclusive, with the right to grant sublicenses, in the following fields of exploitation:
a) recording and reproduction — producing copies using any technique, including in particular printing, reprographic, magnetic recording, audiovisual and digital techniques;
b) entering into computer memory;
c) placing on the market;
d) distribution and making available online on any website;
e) using the entire Contest Entry and its individual elements for the purpose of creating any advertising materials and using them within advertising materials, by recording and reproducing them using the techniques described in point a) above, as well as placing them on the market, renting, lending and publicly making them available in such a way that anyone may access them at a place and time of their choosing, worldwide.
4.13. Apart from the Prize, the Winner shall not be entitled to any additional remuneration for granting the license referred to in Section 4.12 above.
4.14. Contest Entries of Participants may be published online or used in offline publications of the Organizer without indicating the author’s surname, to which the Contest Participants consent. Contest Participants guarantee that publishing their entries online and in offline publications of the Organizer or the Prize Sponsor will not infringe the personal rights or copyrights of any third parties. Any potential claims shall be pursued against the Participants who submitted their creative entry.
4.15. Liability for infringement of third-party rights, in particular economic copyrights, in connection with the Contest Entry shall be borne by the Contest Participant who submitted the Contest Entry to the Contest.
4.16. It is prohibited for a Participant to submit a Contest Entry containing content that is unlawful or generally considered contrary to good practices, including:
- marketing of goods or services competitive to the goods or services offered by the Organizer or the Prize Sponsor;
- vulgar or discriminatory content or content inciting hatred on the grounds of nationality, ethnicity, race, religion, gender, or content damaging the good name of the Organizer, the Prize Sponsor or any third party;
- the image of minors;
- unlawful content or content generally considered contrary to good practices.
4.17. Contest Entries that do not meet the requirements of these Terms and Conditions, including those containing prohibited content or content inconsistent with Facebook’s catalogue of unacceptable content, shall not participate in the Contest and may be removed from under the contest post by the Organizer.
4.18. From among all Participants effectively entered into the Contest during the entry period referred to in Section 3.1, a total of 1 Winner shall be selected. The Winner shall be selected based on the evaluation of the answer to the contest task by the Committee, taking into account in particular its creativity, originality, consistency with the Contest slogan “Every route has its finish line”, emotionality/authenticity, and reference to sport, the road, the finish line or motivation.
4.19. The proper conduct of the Contest shall be supervised by the Contest Committee appointed by the Organizer, consisting of 3 persons: Mieszko Uchnast, Małgorzata Markowska, Adriana Szaposznikow.
4.20. The Contest Committee shall select the Contest Winner in accordance with the rules set out in these Terms and Conditions.
4.21. The Contest Committee shall also be competent to consider complaints and claims submitted by Participants regarding the course of the Contest.
4.22. The Contest provides for a prize for one Winner. The prize in the “GLS Finish Challenge” Contest is a professional triathlon outfit with GLS Poland branding, with a net value of PLN 575.00. The total prize pool amounts to PLN 575.00 net. The prize for the Winner will be sent by courier, to a GLS Poland collection point or to a parcel locker of the shared ORLEN Paczka network, to the shipping address indicated by the Winner, within 15 days from the date the Winner provides the address.
4.23. The Participant who is designated as the Contest Winner — the person who provided the most creative answer to the contest task — shall receive notification of being awarded in the Contest electronically, within up to 5 business days from the announcement of the Contest results referred to in Section 3.1. Notification shall be sent to one person selected by the Contest Committee, in accordance with Section 4.22.
4.24. The Contest Winner is obliged, within 24 hours from receiving the notification referred to in Section 4.23, to respond to that notification, in particular to confirm the data necessary to receive the prize: first name and surname, email address, shipping address, phone number and outfit size.
4.25. If no contact is made within the above-mentioned deadline, the Contest Winner loses the right to the prize.
4.26. If the Contest Winner does not collect the prize referred to in Section 4.22 within the deadline set by the Organizer, of which the Contest Winner will be informed electronically, the Contest Winner’s right to the prize shall expire. In such cases, the prize remains at the Organizer’s disposal.
4.27. The Contest Winner is not entitled to exchange the prize for another prize, receive its equivalent in cash, goods or services, or transfer the right to obtain the prize to third parties. The Contest Winner is entitled to resign from the prize. In such a situation, the prize remains at the Organizer’s disposal.
4.28. The Organizer declares that the Prize will be issued to the Contest Winner in accordance with applicable tax law provisions.
5. PERSONAL DATA
5.1. The Controller of Participants’ personal data obtained in connection with participation in the Contest, issuing the prize and conducting complaint proceedings is the Organizer.
5.2. In matters related to personal data protection, each Contest Participant may contact us by writing to the Organizer’s address: Beeffective, Al. Zwycięstwa 96/98/B.2.18, 81-451 Gdynia, or by email at: hello@beeffective.pl.
5.3. The Organizer will process Participants’ personal data in the form of first name and surname, delivery address, email address and phone number solely for the purpose of organizing and conducting the Contest, including prize delivery, handling submitted complaints and for archival purposes.
5.4. The legal basis for processing Participants’ personal data is the Participant’s consent, legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, consisting in the performance of obligations arising from these Terms and Conditions, issuing the prize, as well as archival/evidentiary purposes to secure information in case of a legal need to prove facts, establish and pursue claims or defend against claims, and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR, i.e. a legal obligation consisting in payment of due income tax in the amount of 10%, resulting from Article 30(1)(2) in conjunction with Article 42(1) and 42(1a) of the Act of 26 July 1991 on Personal Income Tax.
5.5. Participants provide their data voluntarily and have:
- the right to access their data;
- the right to rectify their data;
- the right to request deletion of their data when, in the Participant’s opinion, there are no grounds for the Organizer to continue processing the data;
- the right to request restriction of processing;
- the right to object to the processing due to the Participant’s particular situation;
- the right to withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal;
- the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, in the event of a breach in the processing of personal data.
5.6. If the Participant decides to withdraw consent to the processing of their personal data, or if there is a need to change or correct their data, the Participant may submit the relevant request to the Organizer by sending an email to the Organizer’s email address. Contact with the Controller is possible at hello@beeffective.pl or in writing to the address: Beeffective, Al. Zwycięstwa 96/98/B.2.18, 81-451 Gdynia. Withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data is equivalent to resignation from participation in the Contest.
5.7. Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to participate in the Contest, including issuing the prize, settling it and considering any possible complaints.
5.8. By participating in the Contest, the person taking part declares that they have read these Terms and Conditions, acknowledge their provisions and undertake to comply with them.
5.9. Personal data will not be subject to further processing and will not be stored longer than necessary to achieve the above-mentioned processing purposes. Personal data will be processed until the complaint procedure is completed.
5.10. The Controller does not process Participants’ personal data in a manner based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
6. COMPLAINTS
6.1. Complaints concerning the Contest may be submitted by Contest Participants by email to: hello@beeffective.pl or in writing by registered mail sent to the Organizer’s registered office address throughout the Contest period, but no later than within 14 days from the end date of the Contest.
6.2. The date of sending the complaint shall determine whether the deadline described in Section 6.1 has been met.
6.3. Complaints submitted after the specified deadline shall not be considered.
6.4. Complaints should indicate the complainant’s details.
6.5. A complaint should include a concise description of the subject of the complaint.
6.6. Effectively submitted complaints shall be considered no later than within 14 days from the date of receipt of the complaint. The complainant shall be notified of the result of the complaint review by registered mail or by email, sent no later than within 7 days from the date of reviewing the complaint.
7. LIABILITY
7.1. The Organizer shall not be liable for technical problems on the side of the Facebook Service resulting in temporary interruptions in the possibility of using the Service, improper functioning or lack of functioning of the Facebook Service.
8. FINAL PROVISIONS
8.1. The Contest is not a promotional lottery within the meaning of Article 2(1)(9) of the Gambling Act of 19 November 2009 (Journal of Laws of 2025, item 595, as amended) and is not subject to the rules set out in that Act or the implementing regulations thereto.
8.2. The Organizer reserves the right to verify whether Participants meet the conditions specified in these Terms and Conditions. For this purpose, the Organizer may request that the Participant submit certain statements, provide certain data or present certain documents. Refusal by the Participant shall exclude the Participant from the Contest.
8.3. The Organizer reserves the right to remove a Participant from the Contest and prevent them from taking part in the Contest again in the event of a breach of these Terms and Conditions by the Participant, as well as in a situation where the Contest Entry:
- expresses vulgar or discriminatory content or content inciting hatred on the grounds of nationality, ethnicity, race, religion, gender, or damages the good name of the Organizer or any third party;
- violates religious, social or other generally accepted values or norms.
8.4. Submitting participation in the Contest means that the Contest Participant has read and accepts these Terms and Conditions.
8.5. Any disputes that may arise in connection with the performance of obligations resulting from the Contest shall be resolved by the competent common courts.
