Change of toll amount
In our daily work, however, we have to deal with many factors beyond our control that affect our business. One of these is road toll, which is levied in Poland and many European countries for the use of an increasing number of roads. The toll applies to almost all vehicle combinations with a gross vehicle weight of more than 3.5 tonnes and, on some road sections, also to vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of up to 3.5 tonnes, which are used by GLS Poland to transport your parcels to sorting offices and depots.
In view of the fact that we are observing a year-on-year increase in toll rates, we would like to inform you of the necessity to increase the toll included in your invoices for the services provided by GLS Poland. From 1 June 2023, the toll amount will be PLN 0.98. The change is dictated by the fact that this amount has not been changed by us since 2017, and during this time the number of toll roads has increased and e-TOLL rates have increased.
Given your knowledge of the current economic situation, we will be much obliged for your understanding of the decision we have taken. A decision that is dictated by the desire to provide you with a consistently stable and effective cooperation.

25 years of GLS Poland
Ladies and Gentlemen,
we would like to share with you a reason to celebrate. A week ago, on 1 May, it was 25 years since our first shipment set off into the world.
25 years of GLS Poland
At the time, we sent it as Szybka Paczka. However, not as our present-day network of parcel collection and dispatch points, but as a subsidiary of Raben Group. In 2005, all shares were bought out by GLS Group and since then we have been operating as GLS Poland.
Behind us, 25 years have been full of constant changes, especially the last 5 years - since the previous jubilee - a new logo, a new image, more awards and constant development. It is thanks to the latter that we can boast as many as 50 depots and more than 5.000 Szybka Paczka points, and we are planning to open more to be even closer to you and your customers. We are changing and improving our technologies, and our fleet is gradually becoming greener. All thanks to the increasing number of e-vans and courier bikes. Our bicycle couriers successfully deliver parcels even in places hard to reach by car already in more than a dozen Polish cities.
Logistics Operator awards, the highest NPS score in the market at 76.5, ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications or awards such as Great Place to Work underline our continuous work to maintain a strong position in the courier services market and be an attractive employer. We are grateful that our efforts over the years and the great working atmosphere are appreciated by you.
As the years go by, we remain committed to one goal - to make sure that you, our customers, are at the heart of our business. You, as our customer, are at the heart of what we do. Because at GLS we know that every parcel is a different story with real emotions attached to it. That is why we are becoming more and more efficient for you every day. Because behind every parcel are our fantastic people who make sure it reaches its addressee as quickly as possible. We are a close-knit packet of people who constantly support each other, share experiences and knowledge to create and develop GLS Poland together.
You could say that 25 years is a long time, but we still have a shortage. We are hungry for the stories behind every parcel, we are hungry for the challenges and successes. That’s why we already wish ourselves another 25 years, and you continued satisfaction with our cooperation. And to celebrate this anniversary, we are planning several activities, which we will soon inform you about.

we would like to inform you that due to the visit of the President of the United States Joe Biden to Warsaw scheduled for tomorrow, i.e. 21-22.02.2023, there may be some delays in the delivery of your parcels.

The delays may be caused by major traffic changes that will be introduced by the city authorities for the duration of the visit. Significant restrictions will occur in the vicinity of Chopin Airport as well as in the city centre and the Old Town. In addition, during the US President's stay in Warsaw, government services may operationally decide to exclude other streets from traffic.
We ask for your understanding if the delivery of your parcels will be delayed. We assure you that we will do our best to ensure that your parcels reach their Recipients as soon as possible.
