Customer Service Representative - Dublin

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Service team. Responsibilities:

  • Provide an excellent service to customers by telephone and e-mail.
  • Co–ordination Customer pickups and deliveries. This involves communication with customer, warehouse & transport department and other internal departments if necessary.
  • Troubleshoot any problems with taken customer calls and/or assigned customer accounts and follow through to resolution (seek support of CS Manager or Ops Manager as required).
  • Work with Internal systems to ensure proper inventory controls for customers and ensure all records are up-to-date and correctly filed
  • Produce metrics and reports for assigned customers as required – daily/weekly/monthly.
  • Identify, develop and implement improvements in customer service support
  • Become proficient in all aspects of the Customer Service role and undertake cross training on all aspects within CS profile · Undertake new tasks, in line with business development, as directed by CS Team Leader
  • Communicate with the operations departments on a daily basis.
  • Ensure company issues are effectively worked in a timely manner
  • Assist in Managing and Planning across multiple Social Media Accounts
  • Reception area – front of house intake of parcels includes labelling & measuring parcels, updating spread sheet, handling of money, answering service mails .

General Operative - Knock

Customs Team Leader - Dublin

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the overall Customs department
  • Lead and implement changes in processes and procedures related to Brexit
  • Identify, develop and implement improvements within the department
  • Staff planning
  • Train and develop Customs Agents
  • Keep good working relationship with Customs or other official authorities
  • Produce metrics and reports for assigned customers as required – daily/weekly/monthly.

  • Provide an efficient and effective Customs Clearance Service ensuring administration procedures are carried out in line with Revenue and GLS standards.
  • Ensure that all data sent to Revenue is fully accurate.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Liaise with both internal and external customers and ensure all clearance queries and requests are resolved/followed through in a timely and effective manner.

Skills/Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Import/Export Clerk role.
  • Experience of using Custom Force /Custom Ware application desirable.
  • Import, Export, Custom clearances.
  • Creating and discharging T1 document.
  • Strong knowledge of classification of goods.
  • Relevant experience in a similar industry desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and on their own initiative.
  • Ability to prioritise clearances.
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

ParcelShop Executive - Dublin & Cork

We are currently looking to add an additional Parcel Shop Executive to join our team in Ireland. This role can be based in Dublin/Cork.

We require a proven achiever to develop the ParcelShop Network within Ireland and maintain long term relationships between GLS and ParcelShop Operators

This is a full time permanent role working Monday-Friday and requires regular overnight stays nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To continuously develop the ParcelShop concept of GLS Ireland based on the concept of other European countries within the GLS Group.
  • To develop new ParcelShop Operators in lucrative areas according to the GLS ParcelShop strategy.
  • Service existing accounts and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • To increase volume through marketing / advertising campaigns.
  • To consistently achieve and deliver on ParcelShop targets.

  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
