We are currently recruiting for a permanent part time Information security officer.

The key task of the Information security officer is to assure that all the IT systems are maintained, controlled, updated as well as rectifying IT security issues.

Responsibilities:

  • The primary contact for Information Security and ensure enforcement of GLS group-wide policies and standards within GLS Country
  • Implement and execute processes and activities within a group-wide ISMS to manage, monitor, maintain and improve the Information Security
  • Responsible for the Information Security risk management
  • Responsible for the coordination and execution of security audits and tests
  • Responsible for the management of security incidents
  • Conduct security awareness trainings
  • Responsible for leading your own local security projects and cooperate with Group-wide projects

Qualifications:

  • Academic degree in computer science (or similar field) or an similar education with relevant experience
  • Know-how about Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and risk management
  • You are familiar with common security standards (e.g. ISO 27001, PCI DSS, OWASP)
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA are desired, but not mandatory

We are currently looking for General Operatives to join our dynamic Dublin team.

This is a 40 hour contract and the hours are Monday-Friday 1pm - 9.30pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Check revert and check each tour when driver returns, including all paperwork / forms/TRN docsThe warehouse to be kept tidy at all times.
  • Check all discrepancies / signatures from each driver & tour and make any necessary amendments.Scan all parcels with correct scans to ensure loss prevention is kept at a high standard.
  • Ensure all scanners are downloaded on time, and tour print outs are filed away.
  • Update traces accordingly with corrected information both in Unique and Gepard systems
  • Surplus parcels are recorded and processed in accordance with guidelines
  • Ensure Stockroom is recorded daily & each parcel receives the correct status
  • Communicate with the Customer Service department & Operations teams on a daily basis to ensure all outstanding issues are effectively resolved in a timely fashion.
  • Make sure SQL lists are checked for Audit purposes.
  • Ensure all paperwork is filed accordingly.
  • Work with Gepard (Internal system) & Unique (Internal system) to ensure proper inventory controls for parcels and ensure all records are up-to-date and correctly filed as per information received.
  • Undertake cross training in all aspects of the warehouse / transport department.
  • Undertake new tasks, in line with business development, as directed by your Line Manager.

We are currently looking for Customs Agents to join our growing team in North Dublin on a Full time basis.

This is a permanent contract Monday to Friday 8am-5pm.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual, to assist with the below duties.

Ideally Candidates MUST have minimum of 1-3 years Administration experience within a busy Logistics/Transport/Freight company

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing support in a busy customs department
  • Assisting with export, import and global processing, full training will be provided
  • Administration duties to include managing files, billing, costings, inputting, processing data and reporting
  • Assisting with customer queries in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

  • Fluent English essential with excellent communication skills
  • 1-3 years office administration experience essential within logistics, transport, or freight industry
  • Previous experience in an extremely fast paced environment with several team members Knowledge of the Logistics / Freight Industry essential
  • Attention to analytics and conformance with defined procedures around tight timelines

Responsibilities:
  • Provide an excellent service to customers by telephone and e-mail.
  • Co–ordination Customer pick ups and deliveries. This involves communication with customer, warehouse & transport department and other internal departments if necessary.
  • Troubleshoot any problems with taken customer calls and/or assigned customer accounts and follow through to resolution (seek support of CS Manager or Ops Manager as required).
  • Work with Internal systems to ensure proper inventory controls for customers and ensure all records are up-to-date and correctly filed
