GLS has added Italy, Portugal, Finland and Bulgaria to its international FlexDeliveryService. The number of countries connected across borders via the service thus rises to 21. Parcel recipients have the option to adapt deliveries to their own wishes even in the case of online orders made in other countries.
GLS Portugal New Website
With the launching of the new website version, GLS Portugal stays in line with the GLS Group online look & feel, and now offers to its customers a modern online navigation experience, with functionalities such as geographical search of ParcelShops, improved track & trace functionalities including App versions for Mac and Android, among other capabilities which will potentiate the setup in Portugal of additional tools, specially for B2C deliveries which the electronic commerce market demands.
GLS Portugal new Depot in Maia
In 2014 GLS Portugal registered a strong growth in the north of the country, motivating the expansion and setup of new facilities, which will consolidate and expand this growth, being now available, since the beginning of 2015 in the new Depot of Maia, an increased capacity for inbound and outbound parcel processing.
GLS releases first sustainability report
Acting responsibly towards people and the environment is an important principle for GLS. The Europe-wide parcel service provider documents its social involvement, environmental activities and progress in its recently released sustainability report.
