2025 Peak-Season Surcharge

As we approach the busy season, GLS Canada is geared up to ensure your deliveries stay on track and reach you right on time—no matter how busy things get!

To stay ahead of shipping demands during this time of year, GLS will apply a temporary Peak-Season Surcharge to all parcels shipped from October 13th, 2025, through January 16th, 2026. A surcharge is applied to help ensure we can maintain the quality and reliability you expect, even when resources are limited.

The surcharge will be reflected as an additional cost on all parcel shipments and applied in addition to other standard accessorial fees and surcharges.

Special handling	$6.25 per piece
Large package surcharge	$13.95 per piece
Residential/ Low commercial density area	$0.95 per piece
Over max limits (>10ft, >150 lbs, >165circ)	$595.00 per piece
