Returns

Contact the online store first

GLS Slovenia offers organized returns of the goods to web stores.

According to the ZVPot (the Consumer Protection Act) , the consumer has the right to return the goods without giving the retailer a reason, even if the purchase was made online. In such circumstances, the customers bears the costs of returning the goods.

In particular, in the case of distance contracts and consequently online purchases, the customer has 14 days to inform the merchant that s/he is withdrawing from the contract. The withdrawal period shall be deemed to begin on the day on which the consumer receives the goods, and for online purchases the day of conclusion of the contract.

Slovenian law only protects consumers when making an online purchase from Slovenia.

If a consumer purchases good in another EU Member State, s/he can resolve any complaints through the competent European Consumer Centre in Slovenia.

Always contact the online store first

The majority of reputable online retailers in the EU offer paid or free returns. Ask them what their procedure is. Usually, you only need to fill out a form.

Consumers can, therefore, make a request to EU retailers through a platform that facilitates online dispute resolution. The site is free of charge and is available in all EU languages.
