Sameday delivery specifics

-Timeline between order in a web shop and delivery to the customer is max 3 hours

-Collections and deliveries possible from Monday to Friday between 10h and 18h

-Delivery and pick-up's are made in the area of ​​Ljubljana and its surroundings (postal codes: 1000, 1210, 1231, 1260, 1261, 1211, 1236, 1215, 1230, 1233, 1234, 1235, 1290, 1293, 1351)

-Package tracking visible in real time in the SameDay app

-The sender and the recipient receive an SMS and e-mail notification whenever the status changes (parcel received, delivered, rejected)

Development of sameday delivery

In 2023 sameday delivery is expanding to Ljubljana (with surroundings), Maribor, Kranj, Celje, Novo mesto in Koper.

This means that the customer will order a package from an online store somewhere in Slovenia (e.g. until 2 p.m.), and around 5 p.m. he will be able to pick it up in Maribor at the nearest GLS Parcel Locker.

-Same-day delivery in Slovenia still represents a competitive advantage, as not all online retailers offer the service

-The price of same-day delivery does not change according to the weight of the package, but is fixed for all sizes and weights

- On the website, the provider selects products for which same-day delivery is possible. Integration on the website is not necessary, as it is a minor development

-All analyzes show that the speed allowed is one of the most important factors influencing the purchase decision, user experience evaluation and repeat purchase decision.
