GLS celebrates opening ceremony at new depot in Cork

On Tuesday, 23 July 2019, GLS Ireland inaugurated its new depot in Cork with an opening ceremony after starting operations in November of last year. The parcel service provider tripled its sorting capacities by moving to Blarney Business Park from the previous location.

GLS Ireland supports Triathlon Ireland as official delivery partner

GLS Ireland has continued its support of Triathlon Ireland by functioning as official delivery partner. During the summer, GLS will be present at all five Triathlon Ireland events. The opening event TriAthy in Athy, Co. Kildare, attended by around 2,000 athletes, was already a great success. This marks the third year of GLS’ sponsorship commitment.

GLS expands international service

GLS has added Italy, Portugal, Finland and Bulgaria to its international FlexDeliveryService. The number of countries connected across borders via the service thus rises to 21. Parcel recipients have the option to adapt deliveries to their own wishes even in the case of online orders made in other countries.

GLS delivers the international FlexDeliveryService to Irish online shoppers

Irish online shoppers benefit from a new service expansion: GLS Ireland now provides flexible delivery of both import and export parcels – between Ireland and 16 countries, including the UK. With the FlexDeliveryService, parcel recipients can choose the place and day of delivery to suit their busy schedules.
