Collecting a parcel
in a GLS ParcelShop
If neither you personally nor your neighbour can accept the parcel, GLS will take it to the nearest GLS ParcelShop. Domestic parcels can be collected there within the next five working days, international parcels within the next nine working days.
When picking up the parcel, you have to identify yourself. To do so, you need an official photo ID, such as your identity card or passport.
The notification card will tell you in which ParcelShop you can collect your parcel. You can also get this information by using the track & trace function. To do this, simply enter the Track ID that is on the notification card.
Use the ParcelShop finder to get more information about the opening hours and the location of the ParcelShop.
What is a GLS ParcelShop?
GLS ParcelShops are parcel dispatch and collection points. They are located in all kinds of different stores (shop-in-shop system), so waiting times are usually very short. In the Republic of Ireland there are over 180 GLS ParcelShops where you can pick up your parcels. Each one is open weekdays between 10.00 and 18.00 at the very least. Many stores with integrated ParcelShops also open earlier or are open later in the evening.
