GDP certificate in Belgium

GLS Belgium is certified for the transport of pharmaceuticals and medicinal products according to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) guidelines. GLS is also GDP-certified in Denmark, Germany, France and Ireland.

Flexible international delivery expanded

Italy, Portugal, Finland, Bulgaria and Greece are added to the international FlexDeliveryService, rising the number of countries connected in all directions via the service to 22. Consumers who shop online abroad can adapt deliveries to their individual wishes.

Partner in Mexico

Estafeta Mexicana, S.A. DE C.V. (Estafeta), the second-largest logistics, courier and parcel service provider in Mexico, becomes a partner of GLS. The GLS Group thus expands its commitment on the North American continent and complements its existing operation in the US and Canada.

Launch of GLS KlimaProtect in Germany

With KlimaProtect, GLS Germany delivers parcels in 100 percent climate-neutral way. The CO2 emissions caused by parcel transport are offset annually by certified reforestation projects. The company switches to 100 percent sustainable electricity. GLS is also investing in additional measures to reduce and avoid emissions. These include the increased use of e-vehicles.

Name change to GLS US completed

Three years after the West Coast parcel delivery company GSO was acquired by the GLS Group, the company officially changes its name to General Logistics Systems US, Inc. (GLS US).
