The GLS App – manage parcels on the go

GLS is always at your fingertips, for everything from collection to delivery options. Recipients and occasional senders can conveniently access GLS services on their smartphone, with the GLS App offering a variety of features. One handy function is that individual data such as parcel labels and addresses are not only available in the app, but also in the GLS-ONE online dispatch portal.

The GLS app is free and can be downloaded by iPhone users from the Apple App Store, whereas the Android version is available from the Google Play Store.

GLS App: benefits for recipients

GLS App_Start-Screen
  • Divert your parcel once you have received an e-mail notification prior to the first delivery attempt or once you have received a notification card (if your parcel is located at the GLS depot)
  • Parcel tracking
  • Search for a GLS ParcelShop by entering your address, with routeplaner and and ParcelShop information
  • Save your parcels by parcel number or Track ID – especially convenient when using the parcel tracking again

Mobile parcel labels

Prepare your parcel on your smartphone. Create your parcel label as a QR code and make parcel dispatch even easier.

Once you have entered the delivery details, the GLS App will automatically generate a QR code. At the GLS ParcelShop, this code will be scanned and the corresponding label printed out and affixed to the parcel. You can even pay straight away using the app – or, of course, at the ParcelShop. And the parcel is already on its way.

FlexDeliveryService: select delivery option

With GLS, senders can select the FlexDeliveryService for nationwide and international delivery from Germany to Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain. Recipients will then receive an e-mail from GLS notifying them of the anticipated delivery window. Using a link in the e-mail, they can divert their parcel, even before the first delivery attempt.

If you have installed the GLS App, you can select one of up to seven delivery options using your smartphone, such as delivery at a GLS ParcelShop or delivery at the same address on a different day
