Requesting a pick-up
Ordering a parcel pick-up by a courier at an address and time of your choice is one of basic services provided by GLS.
Terms and conditions of parcel picking-up are always subject to individual agreement between GLS and the sender.
The customer can have one or even collection addresses agreed with GLS by agreement (eg central warehouse and network of retail stores). Collection addresses are agreed in advance in the forwarding contract. In the case of a request for a permanent change of the pick-up address, an amendment to the forwarding contract is required, which will be issued by the GLS sales department upon request.
For a one-time collection of parcels at an address other than the one agreed, Pick&ShipService can be selected using the GLS Connect or GLS Online transport systems.
GLS offers its solution for irregular parcels pick-ups based on order volume and the current needs of senders.
In such cases, parcel pickups can be ordered before midnight of the previous business day, setting a time and address via one of our dispatch systems.
