With ordered PreadviceService, GLS warns the recipient of the parcel delivery time and informs on the three hours window for delivery, all via SMS message.

On the morning of the delivery day, GLS schedules the relevant delivery route and sends a SMS message to the recipient with the expected three hour window for delivery.

This means the recipient knows when to await for the delivery. PreadviceService can be combined with CashService for cash-on-delivery payment, which adds the payment information to the SMS message.
